Yoga Classes

(Sea Girt Location)

The Pure Wellness Yoga Studio offers small group specialty yoga classes.  It is centered around the mindset of safe yoga for everyone.  All classes are taught by me – a certified yoga instructor and physical therapist.  Class size is small (6 max), to allow for better supervision of poses and movements, focusing on alignment and safety.  Specialty classes (prenatal, core) also include education on pelvic health and women’s wellness.

Yoga classes can be purchased in packages by contacting the office directly.

There is an introductory package for 3 classes ($80). 

There are 2 additional packages available in 5 packs ($135) and in 10 packs ($260)

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga in Sea Girt, NJ

Prenatal yoga helps to maintain a healthy mind and body during pregnancy.  It helps to improve strength and flexibility, and also to reduce pain in back and hips that occurs during pregnancy changes.  This class focuses on hip girdle opening, breathing techniques and relaxation which can be helpful during labor.  We will use a combination of mat, standing and prop poses during this flow.

Pelvic Floor & Core Yoga

Pelvic Floor and Core yoga in Sea Girt NJ

This is a combination of a gentle yoga flow and strengthening using light resistance bands/weights to strengthen the core, hip and pelvic floor muscles.  Strengthening of the pelvic floor and core are crucial for proper stability and function.  This is most notable during postpartum, menopause transition, abdominal surgery and with pelvic floor dysfunction. 

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga in Sea Girt NJ

This is a gentle yoga flow for those that want a slower practice or are new to yoga.  It includes flowing poses to warm up the body, and slower paced movements and poses for flexibility. 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga in Sea Girt NJ

Yin is a gentle mat-based yoga where the poses are held for longer periods of time.  It is passive stretching with no active strain on the muscles.  This class is recommended for help with anxiety, stress, and certain pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Tuesdays: 4:30PM Prenatal Yoga

Wednesdays: 9AM Pelvic Floor & Core

Thursdays: 12PM Gentle Flow
